Quick check-in. The lady at the front desk was really helpful. The room was clean, though there was a strange smell that lingered. Comfy bed made for decent sleep. A dog was barking loudly across the hall when we arrived, a bit disruptive. I personally think allowing dogs in hotels can be noisy and not ideal for cleanliness. The location near I-24 is convenient for shopping and dining. The $25 incidentals fee was nice since it was returned right after checkout. The breakfast spread was enjoyable, but I missed it on Monday morning because I didn't realize weekend hours end at 10. Some elements could use attention, like noise control and addressing smells, but I'll keep it in mind for future stays.
